About Zsófia Fónagy

After a multilingual childhood and youth in Budapest and Vienna, I have been working as a translator ever since I graduated high school. During this time, I have translated technical and scientific texts as well as book chapters  as well as several film subtitles  from and into Hungarian, German and English.  After three years  with a financial service provider as  their in-house interpreter, I graduated with a Master's degree in Translation and Interpreting in 2017 at the Viennese Centre for Translation Studies. I then spent another three years working as a translator and translation manager at a large Austrian department store chain. I have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter since summer 2021. Aside from receiving language services at native-language level, my customers also benefit from longtime  professional experience coupled with a young, dynamic and flexible attitude.
